Siemens launches first predictive application powered by TIM
In January 2022, Siemens MindSphere® unveiled its first artificial intelligence application for industrial IoT called AI for Everyone. This application for quick and easy time series forecasting is the first of many predictive solutions Siemens is developing using the TIM InstantML technology from Tangent Works.
The aim of this new Siemens Mindsphere® applications is to reduce the technological barrier to powerful machine learning and AI tools. Now, everyone has the ability to leverage time-series data from IoT assets and create forecasts. This no-code approach will allow people across manufacturing organizations to make informed decisions on future actions.
TIM seamlessly integrates with Siemens Mindspere® and enables immediate model building and forecast creation. The hyperautomated machine learning engine allows users to perform and scale forecasts and soon also anomaly detections without hassle.
With this accessible, no-code tool it’s easy for Siemens Mindsphere® users of all skills to implement essential use cases like quality management, production optimization, energy management and predictive/prescriptive maintenance.
Siemens MindSphere® is the leading industrial IoT as a service solution recognized by Gartner and industry leading companies worldwide such as Volkswagen and Coca-Cola.
In April 2021 Siemens unveiled its intention to build very powerful but easy-to-use AI applications using the TIM InstantML technology by Tangent Works.
“Thanks to the integration of Tangent Works’ InstantML technology, Siemens customers and partners can now better turn data into real and actionable insights and value. With the ability to use AI/ML to generate hyper-automated predictive analytics, even citizen data scientists can leverage data and achieve immediate insights, at scale. This ultimately reduces complexity and puts the power of IoT data in the hands of the user.”
